Answer by Glaviolette(140) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Your two books could be a math and science, a math and engineering, or a science and engineering. There are 11(14) different ways to get a math and science book, 11(9) different ways to get a math book and an engineering book, and 14(9) different ways to get a science book and an engineering book. Those products are 154, 99, and 126. Those would be added to get 379 total ways.
