Binomial distributions are two choices, independent, fixed number and fixed probability.
to choose 3 from 5, it is 5!/3!2!, or 10 different ways.
12C7 is 12!/7!5! multiplied by the two below.
the next part is the probability of success raised to the number of successes desired.
