Question 1124868: The probability that a person gets selected in the Police Academy is 0.32. What is the probability
that out of 5 randomly selected people, at most 2 persons are selected? Draw a tree diagram for
this problem.
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
at most 2 means 0,1,2
for 0 it is .68^5=0.1454
for 1 it is .32*.68^4*5=0.3421
for 2 it is 10*.32^2*.68^3=0.3320
Tree diagram will produce the numbers 5 in the second one and 10 in the third one.
Probability is 0.8195
