Question 1124840: Please help me solve this probability problem, i am a little confused on how to get the second number.
62% of men consider themselves professional baseball fans. You randomly select 10 men and ask each if he considers himself a professional baseball fan. Find the probability that the number who consider themselves baseball fans is (a) exactly five, (b) at least six, and (c) less than four.

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
For at least six, you need to compute 6,7,8,9,10
for 6 do 10C6*0.62^6*0.38^4=0.2487
for 7 do 10C7 0.62^7*0.38^3=0.2319
for 8 do 45*0.62^8*0.38^2=0.1419
for 9 do 10*0.62^9*0.38 =0.0514
for 10 do 0.62^10, which is 0.0084
Add those and that is the probability.
