Therefore,
P(diamond)=14/52=1/4.
P(Queen)=4/52=1/13.

I will assume it was a typo when the other tutor said there are 14 diamonds in a deck of cards....

Also, he treated your question as two separate questions -- the probability of getting a diamond, and the probability of getting a queen.

I suspect the intent was to find the probability of getting a diamond or a queen when drawing a single card once. In that case, since there are 13 diamonds plus 3 queens that are not diamonds, the probability is 16/52 = 4/13.
