One light bulb is selected at random from a lot of 140 light bulbs, of which 5% are defective. What is the probability that the light bulb selected is defective?
Answer by math_helper(2461) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P(bulb is defective) = % or 0.05
Think about it: if 5% are defective, then no matter how many bulbs there are, you have a 5% chance of selecting a defective one.
