A pet store has 4 puppies, 6 kittens, 3 hamsters and 5 snakes. Four of the animals are going to be selected to appear in an upcoming newspaper ad. The owner decides to randomly select the animals that will be used in the ad.
a)
State the number of successes, the number of dependent trials, the population size,and the number of successes in the population.
b)
Create the probability distribution for the number of snakes that will appear in the ad.
c)
Calculate the expected value for the number of snakes in the ad.
