a. What are the chances of a rolling a die where an even multiple of 4 comes up?
b. What is the probability of getting a heart or face card when drawing one card at random from a 52 deck cards?
c. A glass jar contains 6 red, 5 green, 8 blue and 3 yellow marbles. If a single marble is chosen at random from the jar, what is the probability of choosing a red marble, green marble, blue marble and yellow marble?

I will help you to answer only one section: section c.


The total number of marbles in the jar initially is  6+5+8+3 = 22.


With the equal probability of  you can choose any of these marbles.


Therefore, the probability to choose the red marble is   = .


The probability to choose one green marble is  .


Based on this, by analogy, answer regarding blue marble and yellow marble on your own.
