Question 1104218: Hello! If I could get help with the following question:
Let E and F be events such that Pr(E')=0.4, Pr(F)=0.3, and Pr(EUF)=0.7 Compute Pr(EnF)

Please note: Pr(EUF) means E UNION F
Pr(EnF) means E INTERSECTION F
Thank you!

If P(E')=0.4, P(E)=0.6. Then
P(EUF) = P(E)+P(F)-P(EnF)
0.7 = 0.6+0.3-P(EnF)
P(EnF) = 0.2
