probability is 0.4 that older than 25.
E(x)=400*0.4=160
using the SE below, and multiplying by 400, it is 9.8
E(x) for percentage is 40%
SE is sqrt (.4*.6/400)=0.02445 or 2.45%
Using a 95% interval, (0.352, 0.448), or for the answer, 40%, give or take 4.8%
mean is 160
sd is sqrt (variance)=sqrt (400*.4*.6)=96; sqrt (96)=9.8, which is what was shown above.
