Question 1075715: At the end of a training program, learner’s have to pass an exam to obtain their learner’s license.
The probability of passing the exam at the first attempt is 0:75. Those who fail may write again.
The probability of passing the second attempt is 0:6. No further attempts are allowed.

Passing the exam at the first attempt, the probability is 0.75. Assuming all who fail the first time (.25) try again, we get .6 x 0.25=.15. So, 0.75+0.15, or .90 of the people who try eventually succeed--leaving 0.1, or 10% of all learners fail to obtain a license. ☺☺☺☺
