Question 1074315: If a die is thrown three times. What is the probability that all throws shows prime number?
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20060)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P(prime on 1 throw) = P(2 or 3 or 5) = 3/6 = 1/2

P(prime on 1st toss AND prime on 2nd toss AND prime on 3rd toss) =

P(prime on 1st toss)× P(prime on 2nd toss) × P(prime on 3rd toss) =

(1/2)×(1/2)×(1/2) = 1/8
