The following data are from a research study comparing two treatment conditions. Do the data indicate a significant difference between treatments? Use a two tailed test with α = .05
a. For the first test, assume the data are from an independent-measures study using two separate samples.
Treatment 1 data= 10,2,1,15,7 with SS= 134 and M = 7
Treatment 2 data=11,5,2,18,9 with SS=150 and M =9

I've asked you this more than a week ago. What is the SS you
are posting. Normally these problems supply standard deviation
Is your SS "sum of squares of the residuals"? If so what method
do you use to calculate the standard deviation?
