E(4)=? Var(4)=?
[y=3x-5 E(x)=4 Var(x)=2 are given. E(4)=? Var(4)=? This is all that is given in the homework. I couldn't figure out the question too. Didn't see this kind of question before. There is a function y=3x-5 with x and y variables. Expected value E(x)=4 is given and Variation Var(x)=2. What is asked is Expected value at 4, E(x) and Variation at 4, Var(x).]
