Question 1060883: At DeeDee's Dinette, the probability that a customer orders coffee is 0.60, the probability that a customer orders pie is 0.35 and the probability that a customer orders neither coffee nor pie is 0.30. Find the probability that a customer orders both coffee and pie.

If the probability of a customer ordering neither coffee nor pie is .3, then the probability of them ordering one or the other is .7. So:
.6+.35-.7=.25
This leaves a probability of .25 that a customer will order both coffee AND pie. ☺☺☺☺
