Question 1058456: Two boxes both have four balls numbered 1, 2, 3, and 4. Tom randomly selects 2 balls from one box at the same time that Harry selects two balls from the other box. What is the probability they got the same numbers on their two balls?
Answer by Edwin McCravy(20055)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!

Regardless of which balls Tom selected, the probability that Harry
will get that same combination is 1 way out of 4C2 or 1/(4C2) = 1/6.
