Question 1046979: I am having trouble grasping the confidence intervals. My question is...
Would I still be able to use a sample of 10? My guess would be yes, but the bigger the sample size the more accurate it is to the population.
Answer by ewatrrr(24785) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
As to Margin of Error and Confidence Intervals
CI = mean - ME << mean + ME
ME = being the population standard of deviation
Or
ME = s being the standard deviation of the sampled data,
t-value a corrected value by sample size: (n-1) used
Regardless which of the above are used...knowing the Population Standard Deviation or not...
Smaller the n, the Larger the Margin of Error will be.
ME = ME will be Larger than for ex.
