I thought I was putting the numbers into the equation correctly but apparently I am not. I did 1(.08)^1 x (.92)^4 and got 0.057 but the correct answer is 0.249. How do I put the numbers into the formula correctly?

You didn't use the combination multiplier C(4,1) (which is 4) and one of your exponents is incorrect.
