In "sum of two dice" problems, it's a good
idea to make a 6x6 chart of all 36 possible rolls:

(6,1) (6,2) (6,3) (6,4) (6,5) (6,6)  


Then mark the ones that are either a 
multiple of 2 on the first roll 
or a total of 8 for both rolls?

The multiples of 2 are 2,4, and 6.


I'll color them red (Some fit both categories,
but we can't count them but one time.)
