Question 1034150: A mother had R100 to share equally amongst her 7 children she gives each child 15% of the money is this posible?
Answer by addingup(3677) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
No. Because 7*15 = 105% and remember that she has 100%.
So, let's say she has 20,000 rupees. That is 100%
And now she finds another R5,000. Well, her new 100% is 25,000. What you have is your 100%.
What could the mother do?
She could give 14.25% to 6 of the children 6*14.25=85.5% and 14.5% to the 7th child.
