Simple probability is the desired/total : the number of desired outcomes divided by the total number of possible outcomes.

The numbers that aren't multiples of 2 are 1,3 and 5. There are 3 of them. The number of possible outcomes is 6.

P = 3/6 = 1/2 = .5.
