Question 1026415: The experimental probability that Mindy will win a game of chance is 2/5. The experimental probability that James will win the game of chance is 5/8. If they each play 200 games, who will win more games and by how much?
work:
I made 2 proportions
2/5 = x/200
5x = 400/5
x = 80
5/8 = x/200
8x = 1000/8
x = 125
then I subtracted 125 - 80 = 45
Answer: James will win more games, by 45 games.
I don't know if this is correct. Please help me.
