Question 1016651: Two cards are randomly selected from a standard 52-card deck without replacement. What is the probability of getting 2 cards lower than 9 or 2 hearts? Assume the aces count as 1. (answer as a decimal)

Cards lower than 9 are 4*9=36
hearts in cards above 9 are 2 in 10,J,Q,K, so total for both is 44.
probability of NOT getting that from two draws is (8/52)(8/51)=0.024, done without replacement.
So the probability of getting the cards is 0.976.
