Question 1005113: Let set C = {even numbers between 1 and 99} and set D = {numbers between 1 and 150 that are evenly divisible by 10}.
What is C ∩ D?
{10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90} this is the answer but I don't know why. Is it because C is a subset of D, that is, all the elements of C can be found in D.

You can put this solution on YOUR website! Let set C = {even numbers between 1 and 99} and set D = {numbers between 1 and 150 that are evenly divisible by 10}.
What is C ∩ D?
{10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90} this is the answer but I don't know why. Is it because C is a subset of D, that is, all the elements of C can be found in D.
=================
C is not a subset of D. There are elements in C that are not in D --> not a subset.
-----------------
{10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90} are the elements that are in C and D.
