Question 387220: In class we are trying to factor special products; trinomials to be specific. We need to get it in perfect square trinomial pattern. Here's the question: 9t^2-12t+4 Thanks Click here to see answer by jim_thompson5910(28593)

Question 387339: Factor completly (20b^2+100bt+125t^2) I understand the GCF is 5 and I had tried to factor it out getting (5(4b+5t)(b^2+25t)) No matter where I place the numbers or what numbers I use I can't get both 100bt AND 125t^2. I e-mailed my teacher for help 5 days ago with still no response and at this point any help is REALLY appreciated!!! Click here to see answer by jim_thompson5910(28593)

Question 387341: Rewrite with a rational exponent ^4√(23) Here is why I am lost, I thought in order to simplify a square root a number was needed that can be powered 4 times to = 23. I can do 2*2=4*2=8*2=16 and 3*3=9*3=27 (which is already more then 23) Is there a solution to this problem?? Click here to see answer by user_dude2008(1861)

Question 387342: Factor completly 6x^6-48x^5+48x^4 The GCF is 6x and I tried to factor this and ended up with 6x^4(x^2-8x)(x-6)(which I know is wrong) I can't seem to figure this out so any help is greatly appreciated!! Click here to see answer by stanbon(57323)

Question 387338: Subtract, Simplify if possible. I have tried this problem but I am not sure if this is right: (7-z/z-5) - (7z-8/5-z) I ended up with the answer (8z-1/5-z) But I don't think that is right because the denominators are different in both equations.
