(7x4 − 3x3 + 2x2 − 2) ÷ (x2 + 4)

Just perform the polynomial division. (If you know how - easier than regular long division).

d(x) is the divisor;
q(x) is the quotient;
r(x) is the remainder;
p(x) is the dividend.
