Question 976485: X^3-13+12/x+4
Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
X^3-13+12/x+4. Put all over (x+4)
{(x^4)+4x^3-13x-52+12}/(x+4)={(x^4)+4x^3-13x-40)}/(x+4)

If it were to find the roots of the function, you would set it equal to zero, multiply both sides by (x+4) to get rid of the fraction, and look for roots, starting with various factors of 40. At this point, graphing would be helpful.
