Question 976097: identify all double roots
x^3+4x=4x^2

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^3-4x^2+4x=0
x(x^2+4x+4)=0
x(x+2)(x+2)=0
x=0,-2,-2
The double roots are -2, and there is a "bounce" at x=-2
