Question 972281: (1/4x+3)squared
Answer by Boreal(15235) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Squaring (a+b)
It is the square of the first, TWICE their product, and square the second.
a^2+ 2ab +b^2
Here it is
[(1/4)x +3]^2 I edited this to be ((1/4) x and not 1/4x, which would be different.
(1/16)x^2 + 2*3*(1/4)x +9=
(1/16)x^2 + (3/2)x + 9 ========== 2*3*(1/4)=(6/4)=(3/2)
