Question 950210: How to find degree of polynomial.
P(x) = x^3(x+2)(x-3)^2
I know the points on the x-axis are 0,-2,+3 the trouble I am having is determining it's degree. I know x^3 is the highest here? so then it would be an odd positive graph? from the bottom left to the top right? but when I graph it online it gives me the graph an odd negative graph. What did I miss?
Thanks!

This is a 6th degree polynomial and you should get this graph

this grapher isn't perfect as the green line should extend upwards infinitely on the left side

The degree is 6;; 3+1+2 = 6.
