The LCD is equal to (2x-1)(x+1).
Multiply both sides by the LCD, the result is
6(x + 1) = 4(2x - 1)
6x + 6 = 8x - 4
-2x = -10
Therefore

, with
4(2x - 1) = 6(x + 1) ------- Cross-multiplying
8x - 4 = 6x + 6
8x - 6x = 6 + 4
2x = 10
, or
