Question 942456: The Graph of y = ax^2 + 5x - c, is shown above. (Could not figure out how to attach a graph in this question box). Which of the following graphs could represent the equation, y = (a + 3)x^2 + 5x - (c + 3)? (Again could not figure out how to attach graphs, probably hard to answer this question without the graphs). How would I go about solving this question, do I need to solve for a & c in order to find the transformation? How would I go about that?
Thank you

Answer by rothauserc(4718)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
look where the graph of the equation crosses the y and x axis
for the y axis, x = 0 then -c-3 = y intercept for second equation. For first equation, -c = y intercept
that should get you started
