Tried this and got , checked the answers and thought -13 was the answer, but it turns outs both are incorrect. No solution is also not an answer.

√(2x+30)=x+11
square both sides
2x+30=x^2+22x+121
x^2+20x+91=0
(x+7)(x+13)=0
x=-7
or
x=-13
check:
√(2x+30)=x+11
√(-14+30)=-7+11
√16=4
4=4
x=-7 ok
..
√(2x+30)=x+11
√(-26+30)=-13+11
√4=-2
x=-13 ok
