Question: The price of an item is given by p= 2x^2-100 Find the polynomial that represents the revenue generated from the sale of X items.

Look at this way: Revenue = no. of items times the price
:
Given the price = 2x^2 - 100
Number of items given = x
:
Therefore:
Revenue = x*(2x^2 - 100)
f(x) = 2x^3 - 100x, represent the revenue generated by x items
