50. a+4/2 = a+4/a 4/2 = a+4/a-a 4/2=4/a (a,-a gets cancelled)

therefore a=4.2/4 a=2

64. 4w-1/3w+6-w-1/3=w-1/w+2
4w-1/3w-w-w+1/w=2-6
4w-2w+2/3w=-4 2w+2/3w=-4
w+1/w=-2 w^2+2w+1=0 factorising we get (w+1)^2=0 w=-1,-1
therefore the value of w=-1,-1
