: I have an algebra word problem and I need help with it. I tried but I couldn't get the right answer. The answer is supposed to be: $[(n^2+38n-80)/n]. The question is: "Ted bought "n" rolls of film for a total of $40. He then sold all but 2 of them for $1 more per roll than he paid. How much did he receive for he rolls of film that he sold?" The lesson involves mixed expressions and you have to rewrite fractions using the LCD. Thanks.

If he sold all but 2 rolls, then he sold rolls
The amount of money he got from selling the rolls
