Multiply equation by 5(x+2), gets rid of the denominators and you have:
x + 5(x-3) = 7(x+2)
:
x + 5x - 15 = 7x + 14
:
6x - 15 = 7x + 14
:
6x - 7x = 14 + 15
:

x = 29/-1
x = -29
