Simplify the complex fraction
(8/t + 7)/(24/t^2 - 49)
-----
[8/(t+7)] / [24/(t-7)(t+7)]
-----
Invert the denominator and multiply
cancel the common (t+7) factor::::
-------------------------------
[8(t-7)]/24
-----------
= (t-7)/3
-----------------
