20y^2+33y+10=0
Answer by checkley79(3341) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
20y^2+33y+10=0
(4Y+5)(5Y+2)=0
4Y+5=0
4Y=-5
Y=-5/4 ANS.
5Y+2=0
5Y=-2
Y=-2/5 ANS.
PROOF:
20(-5/4)^2+33(-5/4+10=0
20(25/16)-(33*5/4)+10=0
(20*25/16)-165/4+10=0
500/16-165/4+10=0
[500/16-(4*165)/16]+10=0
(500/16-660/16)+10=0
-160/16+10=0
-10+10=0
0=0
