If one-half of are integer subtracted from three fifths of the next consecutive integer, the difference is 3.
I wrote this expression like this? 1/2 x-3/5 x-3=
and the two integers are 9, 31 is this correct and am I on the right track?

If one-half of are integer subtracted from three fifths of the next consecutive integer, the difference is 3.

Consecutive integers are x and x+1.
EQUATION:
(3/5)(x+1)-(1/2(x)=3
Multiply thru by 10 to get:
6x+6 -5x = 30
x= 24
