: I need help to fully factor this problem:
3 * (2x-1)^2 * (2) * (x+3)^1/2 + (2x-1)^3 * (1/2) * (x+3)^-1/2
On the assumption that I started out correctly, I'm simply stuck with the expression as it is below:
(24x^2 - 24x + 6) * (x+3)^1/2 + (4x^3 - 6x^2 + 2x + x - 1/2) * (x+3)^-1/2
Any help at with this would be great!

I need help to fully factor this problem:
3 * (2x-1)^2 * (2) * (x+3)^1/2 + (2x-1)^3 * (1/2) * (x+3)^-1/2
You're expanding, not factoring. When you factor, you take out the lowest powers of what each term has in common:
That was a good one!!!
