X^2+25X+24 YOU NEED TO FIND 2 FACTORS OF 24 THAT ADD UP TO 25 (BOTH b & c TERMS ARE POSITIVE):
FACTORS FOR 24 ARE 1&24,2&12,3&8,4&6. THE ONLY SET THAT ADDS UP TO 25 ARE 1&24.
THEREFORE THE SOLUTION IS:
(X+24)(X+1)

A trinomial like this usually factors into the product of two binomials. The trick is to find two numbers whose product is the last number (in this case 24!) and whose sum (or difference!) is the middle number (in this case 25!). The answer to these questions is 24 times 1, so the answer is
