Answer by rfer(16322)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
 (6+x)/3=0.25x+4
6+x=(0.25x+4)(3)
6+x=0.75x+12
x-0.75x=12-6
0.25x=6
x=6/0.25
x=24
Set up the problem just like it is written.
