Question 816124: Write the square as a trinomial.
Thanks.
Answer by algebrahouse.com(1659) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(3t² - 4)²
= (3t² - 4)(3t² - 4) {when squaring a binomial, multiply it by itself}
= 3t²(3t²) + 3t²(-4) - 4(3t²) - 4(-4) {used foil method}
= 9t^4 - 12t² - 12t² + 16 {multiplied through}
= 9t^4 - 24t² + 16 {combined like terms}
