For finding the horizontal, you want to look for the x with the highest degree for the numerator and denominator. Get rid of everything else
For this equation is what we are looking at.
You find the horizontal, you need to start by plugging in numbers
You can plug in any number you want.

No matter what number you plug in, you will always get 1 so y=1 is your horizontal asymptote
