     3x^2 + 9x - 30

       3x^2 - 75





Factor out the common factor 3 each term both numerator and denominator



   3(x^2 + 3x - 10)

 ___________________

    3 (x^2 - 25)





     3(x+5)(x-2)

  ________________

    3(x+5)(x-5)





     (x-2)

  ________________

    (x-5)





           x - 2 

         __________

           x - 5
