Question 778730: Solve,
4x^2+25=20 x

Answer by waynest(281)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
complete the square:
4x^2/4 - 20x/4 +25/4 = 0
x^2 - 5x + 6.25 =0
x^2 -5/2x + 6.25 = 0
square the results of -5/2
x^2 -5x + 6.25 - 6.25 + 6.25 = 0
x^2 -5x + 6.25 = 6.25 - 6.25
x^2 -5x + 6.25 = 0
(x - 2.5)^2 = 0
x - 2.5 = 0
x = 2.5
