2p-4q-4+2p-1 = 4p-4q-5
Step one put all the numbers witht he same variables together. 2p+2p = 4p ;
7q+ 3q = -4q ; -4-1 = -5
You get 4p -4q -5 and that's as much as you can do on the problem because there are no more numbers with equivalent variables and you don't know Q and P's values.
