Hi, my homework is telling me to factor this equation: 4x^2-12x+9. They say that the answer is (2x-3)^2. I am very confused and I would appreciate your help.
----------
Both ends are squares.
4x^2 = (2x)^2
9 = 3^2
The middle term is negative, so it's (-3)^2
----
Try that first.
