Question 768445: I need to factor the following problem completely!
2(m-1)-3(m-1)^2+2(m-1)^3

Answer by Edwin McCravy(20056)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2(m-1) - 3(m-1)² + 2(m-1)³

Factor out (m-1)

(m-1)[2 - 3(m-1) + 2(m-1)²]

(m-1)[2 - 3m + 3 + 2(m-1)²]

(m-1)[5 - 3m + 2(m-1)(m-1)]

(m-1)[5 - 3m + 2(m²-2m+1)]

(m-1)[5 - 3m + 2m² - 4m + 2]

(m-1)[2m²-7m+7]

(m-1)(2m²-7m+7)
